General Expectations
- Handle all interactions with respect, honesty, and professionalism.
- Assume good intent, but communicate clearly when issues arise.
- Critique ideas, not people.
- Escalate conflicts early instead of allowing them to grow.
Integrity & Transparency
- Never withhold relevant information that affects work or decisions.
- Declare potential conflicts of interest.
- Follow all internal and external rules, even under pressure.
2. Anti-Harassment & Equal Opportunity Policy
Zero Tolerance
- Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind is strictly prohibited.
- Applies to gender, race, religion, orientation, disability, age, and any protected characteristic.
Reporting
- Report incidents immediately to management.
- Reports will be handled confidentially and without retaliation.
Expectations
- Maintain an environment where everyone feels safe to contribute.
- Behaviors that create hostility or exclusion are not tolerated.
3. Time Off Policy
Vacation & Leave
- Standard paid vacation: 25 days per year.
- Requests must be entered into the Time Off database at least 2 weeks in advance.
- Overlaps with major launches may require adjustments.
Sick Leave
- Report illness as early as possible.
- For absences longer than 3 days, provide documentation if required by local law.
Disconnecting
- During approved time off, no Slack or email usage is expected.
4. Remote Work Policy
Work Model
- The company operates fully remote.
- Employees are responsible for maintaining a productive work environment.
Core Hours
- Collaboration window: 10:00–15:00 CET (Monday–Friday).
- Outside core hours: async work is preferred.
Mandatory Meetings
- Only Monday Syncs are mandatory unless otherwise stated.
Availability
- Indicate status (online / unavailable) in the team’s communication tool.
5. Expense Policy
Budget & Approvals
- Approved budgets are visible in the Budget Tracker.
- Expenses above $200 require explicit approval.
Reimbursement Process
- Submit expenses with receipts attached via the “Expenses” page.
- Reimbursements are processed monthly.
Subscriptions
- Renew only if the tool was actively used within the last 30 days.

- Access is granted by role and reviewed regularly.
- Use view-only permissions when edit access is not required.
Password & Account Security
- Use strong, unique passwords stored in a company-approved password manager.
